listen MIDI track, with play or roll-clic

HI happy A5.0.5 fellows;

I met something strange today:
a MIDI drum track, with Linuxsampler on it,
when play it sounds,
when clic on notes in the piano-roll: no sound.

“tape mode” is on, and other tracks different than this Linuxsampler one are making noise.
have tried IN/OUT switch, no sound comes.

turn off tape mode. what you’re seeing/hearing is related to monitoring.

Is there a page where one can learn about (e.g.) “if you choose input/rec enable/ardour does mon./whatever… you will hear that”???
