Hi. I can’t seem to find the Session Control dialog box that appears on the initial start of Ardour. The manual seems to say it is possible to open it, but maybe menus changed? Or is there a config file I need to eliminate to get it to ask for these settings on next restart? My USB interface isn’t always going to be connected and I may want to change the i/o settings for different hardware.

and got some good info: Audio Setup This is a tabbed-dialog within the New Session dialog that will appear only if JACK is not already running as you start Ardour.

Indeed, if you’ve used JACK before and jackd is running, that dialog won’t be displayed. You can later use Menu > Window > Audio/MIDI setup.
