I tried ardroid and although it lacks some functions to make it perfect it works nicely. But it was last updated in March 2011. The author’s website links to ardour, so I hope it is OK to ask here whether it will be further developed? I am hoping it will.
The author does hang around here, though you can usually find him in IRC. It is also open source and the code is in Ardour’s SVN IIRC, so anyone can feel free to continue work on it and submit patches for inclusion to the author.
