ardour comes to the dock and sets sails without the pleasure of using it

ok here’s my spec:

imac intel 1.83GHz, 2 GB memory, Mac OS X 10.4.9

I start jackpilot(and it’s started). then i start ardour. ardour opens up xll and ardour comes up and then goes away. why does it hate me? or tell me how it’s an id10t error. it looks like i might need to set permissions to x11? i hate doing that, always makes me nervous.

It looks like your Ecamm plugin is conflicting with X11. Is it a universal binary?

What information does the file /Users/shulatif/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/ardour.crash.log contain?
