Stereo Balance vs. Width / L / R

I am using Ardour 3.5.380. When creating a stereo track, I get a panpot where I can change the amount of left, richt and the stero width.
Now I pressed accidently the “0” key. The panning section switches to single mono slider. Pressing “0” again switches back to a simple stereo balance where I can only change the amount of L and R but the value of “width” is gone.
How get I back the initial controls: L,R and Width?

Is there even a possibility to get 2 simple panpots for left and right independently like it was in Ardour2?
