Hello, I tried to install ardour3 on a new linuxmint17 laptop and will connect a behringer QX2222 USB-Mixer. I hear a -klick- at the speakers but if i start a recordline in ardour nothing happens…and there where no waves recorded…
Where can i find informations how to built in a usb-mixer into ardour…please keep the answers simple i am a newbie at linux (macuser) and from germany. sorry for my bad english

Ich denke, dass linuxmint die «falsche» Linux Distro ist. Es gibt spezialisierte Distros, die genau für Audio Anwendungen ausgelegt sind. Da wären z.b.: avlinux, ubuntustudio, kxstudio. Soviel ich weiss, lassen sich diese Distros auf DVD brennen und starten ohne dass am laufenden System etwas verändert wird. Man kann also in aller Ruhe ausprobieren und dann die passende Distro installieren.
Ich selber verwendet ubuntustudio. Etwas einlesen müsstest Du dich wahrscheinlich schon.
