Interfaces for OS X PPC 10.5.8

Just thought I open up a thread with the interfaces
that are working on OS X 10.5.8 (PPC).

PowerMac 11,2 (Late 2005)
Ardour version 4.1
coreaudio driver

  • Built-In Audio (analog only)
  • SSL MadiXtreme 64 (PCIe)
  • Digidesign MBox (original version)

Didn’t find a way to edit my firt post.
If I could, I would have added this to it.

    MOTU PCI-424

    Another tested interface :

    • MOTU PCI-424 (PCIe) with MOTU 2408 (1st gen) attached

    • latest drivers for OS X PPC can be found here :

    Don’t know if the newer 2408 will be working as well
