I just realized that I can keep my ardour projects on a USB-drive and work on the same project on my stationary computer at work and on my laptop at home. I just have to make sure that the USB-drive gets mounted on the same mountpoint on both computers so that all pathnames remain correct. I’m using the same linux version and the same ardour version on both computers.
Would I be able to do this if one computer was running Mac OS X and the other was running Linux? Has anyone tried this?
