Exporting midi with sound?

I recorded a piano part using midi, hooked up to a piano sound. Then I copied the midi part and made 2 more identical tracks, except I hooked up different sounds to each one via patchage. When I went to export it, none of the midi sounds made it into the export. I tinkered around a while but couldn’t get any of my sounds from the midi synths to export.

How do I get the sounds to export?

If you are using external synthesizers, you cannot export since that runs at faster-than-real-time speed, which your external synths can’t handle.

You need to create an extra track, disconnect its default inputs and outputs, connect its inputs to the master bus, and then record in real time.
