I cannot hear anything out of ardour !

I am a new user both in mac and ardour

I have installed the jack application, i run it, then i can record a sound with ardour, but when i click on play, i cannot listen to this sound. I can’t hear anything in fact…

Can you please help me ?

You may need to make sure the outputs are connected to your sound device. If you see levels in the master track (from the mixer window), click outputs. Here, you can assign the output of Ardour to coreaudio.
