Font issue

I have some fonts issue.
Certain ardour (4.6) fonts are replace by square. This is not the case for all, only some of it like here:

If I had to guess I would say you are missing the font on your system. Is this with the version downloaded from this website? What OS? Have you tried a demo of 4.7 to see if there is any difference(I don’t believe there would be, but always good to double check)?

I don’t know what font is used there compared to the rest of Ardour off hand, but shouldn’t be hard to find in your config files.

Thanx to answer seablade…

After some investigations, I find the problem:
I have remove ~/.config/fontconfig/fonts.conf (which is create by font-manager) and all my font issue are fix.
Principally apps which use FLTK (rakarrack, yoshimi…)
Hope it helps everybody who are this issue in and out of Ardour.
