Hi Folks,
when try to set GUI & font scaling in preferences tab, to have they at a nice scale for those old eyes (!) at a certain point it becomes impossible to have Ardour 5.5 window “all-in-screen”.
Not sure if it’s a bug or feature, but it’s a little difference of size before it goes out of screen between 5.5 & 5.4. Meant, 5.4 was able to expand a lil’ more, & it was nice for eyes !
I have the same issue since 5.5
The Main Window is way too high and is not possible to resize unless want it higher
Have deleted the gui-config prefs file but that did not help
Maximize editor space seems to work and fit the screen and after some attach detach and resize, I got hte main Editor windows fit too but prefs is still way to high for my laptop.
The laptop is a Fujutsu Siemens H710 with the following graphics spec: 1920x1080 pixels (Full HD) 15,6 Inch internal monitor.
Professional NVIDIA® Quadro® graphics with 96 NVIDIA CUDA cores.
Not a laptop here, something like 50 cms wide. No prob at all with height display, only ~2cms wide is missing to have all GUI in screen.
Maybe someone here have an idea 'bout that?
