I think an awesome new feature would be for rhythm ferret to have an audio-to-midi feature built in, where it could make a midi region with notes at every split it creates in the selected audio region. Reaper has a similar functionality in their “Dynamic Split” tool.
This would make drum replacement/enhancement infinitely easier in Ardour.
