rtlmidi

Has anyone got rtlmidi working on Linux? There are some bits of software about like rtpmidi-native-bridge.js (in the examples of https://github.com/jdachtera/node-rtpmidi.git - which I have managed to get working (kind of) one way with a Berg X-Touch.

But I wondered if I was getting it all wrong and there was a better way. I really want to use the X-touch over ethernet/wifi with Ardour/Mixbus.

And yes I’m using linux (Debian testing/unstable with some KXStudio packages)

Thanks!

I did of course mean rtpmidi. Sorry for the typo - wish I could change the topic title…

I use qmidinet for wireless/network midi. Usually Android. This works great with TouchDAW and Ardour on Fedora.
What is it you are trying to connect?

Is there a reason to not just use USB with the X-Touch? That “Just Works” …
