I can’t open ardour at all. I get messages like this:

please help. Im not a computer guy…yet

There seems to be an error parsing the /home/crybaby/.config/ardour4/config file

If you remove or rename it Ardour will recreate it (although you may loose some configuration preferences).

It seems possible that something in your device identifier string may be interfering with XML parsing, so it may reoccur.

If you can, please try a more recent version like 5.12 and if you can still reproduce this issue please attach the ‘config’ file to a new report in the bug tracker.
