I am having a problem routing the tracks of a multichannel intermediate bus to the speakers.
This is explained in this document with the appropriate screenshots

You’ll need to bypass the panner on the multi-channel bus (right-click on the panner for a context menu). By default, Ardour adds a VBAP panner to buses and track with more than two output channels, which is not what you want in this case.
