I’ve recently been starting to get to grips both with Ardour and my EWI (an Akai EWI4000S Electric Wind Instrument).
This is a 4-part transcription of a movement from John Stainer’s ‘Crucifixion’ recorded directly into Ardour from the EWI. I used three fairly acoustic-sounding patches on the EWI, plus one slightly more synthetic one for the ‘tenor’ line. After the usual editing and mixing I added some TAP reverb, then converted to MP3 using Audacity.
