I have Kubuntu installed on my laptop and I can use Ardour2 and JACK no problem with my M-Audio 4x4 USB Fast Track Pro interface. I installed openSUSE 11.0 today on my desktop. It connects with JACK and my Fast Track Pro shows up in the JACK connections, but when I go to record after selecting the appropriate inputs, no volume is registering for the track to be recorded on. I have JACK selected as the input source. It’s not the volume from my instrument or the gain on Fast Track. Any ideas on what it could be?
