Hi everybody I just posted a mail to yamaha corporation of america regarding the VST support matter. I won’t include here what I wrote but its in summary something like “I am not able to use my own VST plugins because of legal matters that pervent the distribution of VST sdk.”
Any ideas about it making any difference? If you agree then I encourage everybody to do the same.
Have I missed something is the vst sdk no longer available for download and hence there can no longer be any VST hosts under linux… or is this simply a distribution issue?
Most of the users would want a VST enabled-compiled binary package of ardour, couse compiling it is a daunting task.
