I’m trying to setup Ardour on my Father-in-law’s iMac. I’m having some problems with plugins, but the main issue is that Ardour crushes/freezes every time I close it. It seems jack doesn’t close correctly and I have to reboot the computer to open Ardour again.
freezing fixed - I did something crazy and read the post about the new native Mac version and saw that I needed to delete the .ardour2 folder. After doing this, the crashing has stopped, but their is still no way to change parameters on certain plugins (CMT High Pass Filter is one) and the TAP Reverberator has only numbers for reverb type (though they correspond to the list on the TAP website, so reverb type can be figured out)
