The spectral analysis tool built into Ardour is great, once I followed these instructions to get it visible:
I’m identifying some quite narrow bands I have to deal with - is there any way of seeing more info on the x axis, or is there another way top analyse so that I can identify the exact frequency of particular peaks?
exactly what i’m missing, too. i’ve searched the forum if i’m the only one, and here we are…
the spectrum analyzer, though very useful, gives just a rough idea where the, say, unwanted resonance is, so i often have to find it aurally anyway (which is pretty ok itself, but the use of a visual/graphic tool slightly misses its point then…)
would be great if exact values would appear for example at the mouse pointer after clicking the desired point in the graph.
