Crash with Os x 10.4.11

Hello i bought Ardour (2.8),there is a few minutes , i have download jack … i have never installed ardour before on my computer but i canno’t launch it i have this error message in the console:

dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/lib/libcurl.4.dylib
Referenced from: /Applications/Ardour 2.8/Ardour2.app/Contents/MacOS/…/Frameworks/libraptor.1.dylib
Reason: image not found

I try to launch it with and without while jack was running.

In Spotlight (upper right corner on your mac) search for " libcurl 1.4 ".

If it is not in your system try to do a softwareupdate (Apple icon).

thank you , i was trying a way to load VSTi(edit / record midi) but it seems it will only be possible with V3.

We do not support VST on OS X and we don’t plan to. We support AU on OS X, but you are correct that you cannot edit or record MIDI yet. You can also run VST (or AU) plugins in other simple hosts and connect them to Ardour via JACK.

i try to do it with mutools but i cant do it , do you know where i can find tut about this?
