As a reply to another guy in the How To subforum, I described how one can use snapshots in a useful way in the context of album compositions, i.e. working on a consistent set of songs that will make it into an album.
If you use snapshots and subsequently cleanup unused sources, those used in snapshots appear to be sent to dead sounds. At least I think this is what just happened to me using this technique.
Any new wav files after a cleanup start with fresh nomenclature so recovering the old ones to tracks becomes a bit of a nightmare. I guess you shouldn’t do any cleanups until the whole album is done and dusted.
Otherwise it’s a great idea, especially as you can easily rename snapshots to reflect song titles properly.
