Does Ardour support SMPTE sync?

Just curious, as my sequencer can output SMPTE and I do have a soundcard (MOTU 828MKII) that accepts it, so I’d like to give it a try.

It does not lock to SMPTE currently, it does however lock to MTC as well as Jack Transport(Obviously). Most people I know of that need this type of sync are using one of those depending on their needs.
