JACK (disconnects)

Error(running from terminal):

When I ty to create a new session, Ardour disconnects from JACK:(

Pointers for what I’am doing wrong here?

I dunno if jack is compatible with this kernel? I’ve read something about a kernel module…ehm…is this right?

I don’t know if this will solve your problem, but you should try booting the kernel with the noapic option. This worked for me. This is done by configuring lilo. Kernel 2.6 and jack work well together.
