x11 problem

i have tried to install ardour with little success. Each time i run jack and also have x11 but keep getting a message saying x11 is missing. below is the message from the logconsole

Does a terminal show up? If not, then it may nat have actually been installed correctly.

It should be in /Applications/Utilities/X11.app

I had the same problem for a while. Install from the MAC OSX disc:

MAC OSX disc 1 > System > Installation > Packages > X11User.pkg

Installing the X11SDK won’t do it, but the above should do the trick.
