Can't get 11/8 time sig at the beginning of project

Hi

I can’t get rid of the 4/4 at the beginning, it inserts a marker with 11/8 on it which I can drag on top of it, but that can’t be right.

Any help much appreciated

uh, I re-opened the project and the 4/4 marker had gone…

@jimmynitcher: learn the power of the right click. right clicking on most things in ardour will produce a context menu filled with useful items. In this case, a right click on the tempo marker would produce a menu that said “Edit” and choosing that would allow you to change the initial tempo.
