I know Rosegarden is more of a midi workhorse than audio.
I dont know much about programming or the legalities, but would the opensource code of Rosegarden help with ardour Midi and a notation functionality.
If this is possible and compatible would’nt it shave off alot of development time.
@Francois: ardour and rosegarden have almost nothing in common at the source code level. It would not be possible for the two projects to “cooperate” without completely rewriting one of them and throwing away the other. I doubt if existing users of either of them would consider that a good idea.
