Hi,

I can't begin to praise the devs on ardour enough. After years of following the project from far, I installed it tonight on OSX. I'm keen to work with ardour the software and hopefully the wider dev community in the future.

Would a telephone system the devs can use for conference calling and dialing one another (a la skype) be of use? Just putting it out there for your thoughts.

My background is in open source software (opencsta.org & omnium.net.au) and was reading through your development page and came up with the idea.

Cheers

@cstachris: devs use IRC all the time for instant messaging, in both the #ardour channel and a private channel too. Its much better than voice communication because its asynchronous (there's no requirement that the other party be around when a message is delivered) and the conversations pull in people who are not necessary core devs but nevertheless have some great ideas.
