Hi all,

I hope i'm in the right place to ask my question:

I run Ardour under Debian Testing and all is fine.

Use of a RME Multiface II on a laptop QuadCore Q9000, all is wonderfull. Ho Ho !

I need to buy a console mixer for good works, could you please tell me what kind of ....

Mackie Onyx 1640 ?

It kind of depends on your exact needs, how many channels, aux busses, etc. you want. Often times for a home studio a mixer is overkill, though if you find a need for one, saying exactly what you are looking for in one will help people make suggestions.
