Stereo tracks: relative gain and normalization

1. When I normalize a stereo track, only one of the two channels gets affected, at least according to the shown waveform.

2. Can I change the relative gain of the L/R channels on a stereo track?
From what I've found, I can only mute L and/or R.

Both channels get affected equally, as a stereo file should react when normalizing it. If you need to normalize each channel separately, you should use mono regions(Though this ties into your other question most likely).

No, this requires using mono regions.
