So, i ordered a Lexicon FW810s and its arriving tomorrow. Does anyone have any advise on getting this to work? For some reason i cant find ANY lexicon items on FFADO.org, however i’ve heard great success stories about the lexicon omega.
Otherwise, I’m sure there’s only one way to find out…
hi, as far as I can see your Lexicon is a firewire interface, the Omega is an USB gear.
I own a Lexicon Omega and its running really fine (but on USB !!!) , the only thing I couldn’t manage is a stereo playback.
I wish you luck , please report how had success, its interesting for all of us.

Nothing, not a sausage. Im a huge noob when it comes to these things but i tried running it under freebob and alsa and i got nothing.
I’m running it on a computer with vista at the moment (And its running very well!) but I’d prefer to run it on linux.
Oh well, I’m sure someone in the future will eventually figure out a driver for it.
