Hi, I hate to have to come to you all for help, but I just can’t seem to find out the answer to my problem. You see, I’m trying to record into Ardour through an external mixer that I have. I’m able to get recording and sound through my system through any of the other various audio programs that don’t depend on jack, but I’m having trouble with this. I’ve changed the defaults for jack to the usb audio codec but I’m still not getting anything. I’m rather new to Ardour, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

If that fails, it might be an idea to say what make and model of mixer you’re trying to use
