midi import fails to play all notes!!

hello ppls!!

I have imported a kalinkaa.mid in this case, then I have it hooked up with qsynth and connected and all. So what I’ve noticed is that the midi files comes with two types of notes, ones displayed in SOLID color and others in OPAQUE color and TRANSLUCENT. I have no clue what’s the difference but one thing is clear the translucent notes don’t correspond to any piano keys because when I zoom into the track they remain like floating on top of others. Then some solid notes don’t play at all.

I don’t know what’s going on, but the song clearly doesn’t have all the sounds playing.

Can someone give me a hand with this?

Questions and problems with Ardour3-alpha (which I assume you’re using since you have MIDI problem) should not be handled in the forum.
