Love the program. All Linux programs I use run off a Acer Aspire One with 1.5Gig RAM. It is tiny 12" Netbook. (I hook up a 24" monitor for audio recording.) None of those things I could achieve under windowzzzz wit this hardware setup. Tank you all for your kind words. If interested please join my Facebook site searching for Lu’sKitchen. Thank you!!!

Great Hans, it’s really a JOY listening to your music, well done !

Sehr geehrter Herr Professor Knaakenbroed,

I truly enjoyed your works. No wonder you use the Professor as a title. You truly are one. I would love to find more out about your works. The quality of your MUSIK is UNGLAUBLICH SUPER. Was this done open-source or with Steinberg stuff?

Have a great week!
Hans

Hans, thanx for your interest and your answer, you’re really abashing me, there is so much in my work which has to be improved and I feel that a lifetime isn’t enough for putting these things to an end.

To answer your question, I used:

  1. AVLinux
  2. MixBus2
  3. linuxDSP plugins (MBC2, SR 2B, MK II)

Sorry, no Steinberg  it’s just the Linux team that’s playing.

On the Hardware side, a P4 2,8 with 2 GB is donig his job. Unfortunatley I found out, that from 20 tracks on upwards the P4 is getting tired, so maybe that autumn a multicore is on my list.

Sequencers are harmonySEQ.

All drums are Hydrogen, all music is Akai, Emu, Roland, Yamaha, Korg samplers and synths.

All voices are… poorly.

If you feel to collaborate, feel free to contact me, I have no financial interest, just the fun thing. My gloa is to listen to good music while standing in my kitchen, cooking and drinking a glass of wine. Maybe it’s a big fun to share some chords or tracks, or whatever. Could be an enrichment. I am a keyboarder with a classical background, so most stuff turns into monumental or hyms or that

Keep on rocking Hans,
