I’ve been running Mint 11 and Ardour for two weeks now. Until now, everything have worked just fine.
The problem I’ve got is that I can hear the recording sound in my headphones, but there no sign of it in Ardour.
Jack starts fine and I can’t see any error messages. I’ve connected capture_1 to Ardours audio channels according to rules I’ve used in earlier recordings.
The only thing I’ve done to the system since the last time it worked, was to install wine. I don’t know if it has anything to do with it. It was a couple of days ago, and I haven’t been using Ardour since. After noticing the problem, I’ve done a system update. No change for the better.
Now - as I write this - I noticed that I can have Firefox open and start Ardour. I’m quite certain I’ve been unable to do that earlier (resulting in a can’t start sound daemon or something like that).
Help is much appreciated.
