Hi, I'm a new user of Ardour and I'm writing because I have some problems with multichannel...
I have a single track with four channel, I record correctly the track but in the folder I find 4 .wav files, one for every channel, and not a single 4-cannel file... How can I do?
I tried with "Export" but the choice is only between mono and stereo (not multi).
Please, help me!!!

Ardour stores everything as mono wave files.

You can use ecasound to mux them together into a multichannel wav file.

If ecasound is too complex for you, there is a simple program called multimux that should be easy to use.
