Ardour sees native plugins already installed but when I add new ones, it can't get information from them

Hi there

Yesterday I installed a bunch of native vst that I didn’t installed before, but Ardour cannot read information from them :

I checked the permissions, but all is the same than others that works. Any idea ?

Make sure you are using plugins built for the correct CPU architecture - e.g. if you are running a 64Bit version of Ardour, make sure you have 64Bit versions of the plugins installed. Also, if this is a problem in A3, then (as has been stated many many times) the forums are not the place to discuss bugs / issues. If you are using A2 (in which case linuxVST support is only available in a custom linuxDSP build, then email the support link on the linuxdsp.co.uk site and I will try and help you resolve the problem)

Sorry for that, I’m gonna check the 64 bits thing. It’s Ardour 3. And thank you for answering.
