Session sound stops - playhead still moves

Hi

I have been working on a track for a while, and all of a sudden, the track will play for a few seconds, and then all sound will stop.

if i restart the session and move the playhead past the usual “cutoff point” and hit play, i hear maybe a half second of sound before it goes silent

I can open other sessions and play them fine - this makes me think that the problem is not in my setup.

Any help would be appreciated!

Generally this problem occurs with a plugin misbehaving. Try removing your plugins one at a time and see if it works(After you have made a backup of your session of course).
