I want to try the linux version. Can I download without paying, and then if I like the app. send you a cheque?

@flagos: this month, there are no free downloads of the bundles that I provide (this is after a particular poor revenue flow last month). You can, however, always get some version of Ardour from your Linux distribution and try it that way. Try not to waste your time with anything earlier than 2.8.11 and hopefully you will be able to find 2.8.12.
