Export MIDI Region

Hey, using Ardour 3 Beta 3 here, and when I tried to export a MIDI region (right-click on region > Region Name > Export…), it gives me the error “[ERROR]: Exporting Region failed!”. Is this a feature that has not yet been implemented, am I missing a dependency, or is it a bug?

For the time being, I’m just copying the files I need right out of the interchange directory, but it would be nice to do it right from the interface.

@chapatt: it is not implemented at this time. There is actually no reason for the option to even appear in the GUI at this time.

Good to know! I think I’ve ran into a few of those options that have no backend yet, which just makes me want them more :D. Luckily, the way Ardour saves sessions makes it a breeze to do manually.
