I have SWH plugins (packaged by the distro) installed, but cannot see them when I click "a" on a track and choose "Plugins". Is it because this is not the proper way to access plugins? Or is it because I have Ardour installed under /usr/local while plugins are installed under /usr? If the latter, is it possible to point Ardour to the plugins in /usr without having to recompile it and reinstall under /usr prefix?

hi,
i am here on debian, and i have following line at the end of my .bashrc:

export LADSPA_PATH=/usr/lib/ladspa/:/usr/local/lib/ladspa/

dont know if it would help you to edit yours, but it should not cause any troubles to try!

cheers,
doc

p.s. it should be in one line, but as i see, it does not fit here, so put
"export LADSPA_PATH..." in one line.
