Automatic crossfades like in A2 for A3 also

I would like to suggest adapting Ardour 2’s nice function of automatic crossfades between two regions (like they are described in the lower part of this site: http://en.flossmanuals.net/ardour/ch030_working-with-regions/ ) for A3 also.

It’s not extremely important - but I have very much enjoyed to use it when I worked with A2 :-).

A3 has automatic crossfades also. But the default to a very short length, because the default in A2 (xfade length == overlap length) is really equivalent to mixing, and should be done in other ways.

You can simply drag the xfade to a longer length to get the same effect, more or less.
