in my opinion the existing dialog for using presets (w. plugins) is very “basic”. It lacks of essential features like deleting a preset. Furthermore it is possible to save one preset with multiple labels, because ardour doesn’t check if a preset with that name exists already. As a result of this i see no way to overwrite an existing preset. Is someone working on this already ? I wrote a patch against the actual svn version to fix the multiple-labels problem, but i think it would be better to think about a “delete” and “overwrite” solution.
