How do I use LADSPA Plugins? I recently installed the CMT and MCP plugins however I don't know where they are or how to use them. I am used to using Cubase where you can select them from a pull down menu. Are the plugins in a menu or do I need to type a command in the command shell in order to use them?

Thanks

Nathan

Open the mixer window or use the single mixer strip in the edit (main) window. Right-click on the black field above (pre-gain) or below the faders and meters (post-gain) to add a plugin.

I have tested most of the available LADSPA-Plugins with the recent Ardour. The list is in German, if anybody finds it usefull, feel free to grab it (it is CC attribution sharealike). If you cannot make a translation drop me a line, I have too much to do to just make it, but if someone insists, I could change my mind ;-):

I won't insist, but I'll certainly request. :D
